David founded Curtis & Co on the strong belief that a quality real estate experience is one that should be affordable and fair.
David has substantial experience in the property industry. Prior to founding Curtis & Co, David owned and operated of one of the largest property management companies in the Canterbury region. He has also worked for one of the largest commercial property agencies in New Zealand and managed his own personal portfolio of property investments.
David is known for his integrity, ethical approach, professionalism and meticulous attention to detail, qualities engrained working as a detective in the New Zealand Police.
One of the first in the country to complete the most recent, and the most comprehensive real estate qualification in the country – the National Diploma in Real Estate, David is a qualified professional who prides himself on leading from the front.

Elizabeth joined Curtis & Co Real Estate in 2020. She has always had a passion for property and is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the property management and real estate business.
In her continued drive to upskill and build her career Elizabeth completed her New Zealand Certificate in Real Estate (Salesperson) (Level 4) in 2021 to add to her existing skill base.
Elizabeth’s previous experience, working as a consultant with an award-winning public relations consultancy, combined with her time managing communications for two large professional membership organisations, means she has a unique set of skills when it comes to developing a marketing plan for your home.
Elizabeth has a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and Political Science from the University of Canterbury.
